Following on from my dearest friends posting, tomorrow I will be walking the Cancer Research Race for Life in Cambridge. 
I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of friends and family and I’ve raised £700. There is a wonderful bunch of ladies taking part with me and will be walking with me and what will be a very hot day! I will be proud and definitely emotional having them with me
Louise Hatfield-Pike, Samantha Thorogood Shani Giddings Jenny Emanuel Maria Merridan Jacqui Thompson, Julie Emma Cooke-was Pilgrim, Jo Hornby, Rachel Jenkins. and in spirit Rachel Stott who can’t make it due to change of plans. 

You are awesome and thank you for being part of this. You have made my recovery so much easier by being there for me on Saturday mornings, breakfasts, lunch, trips out and your visits. I’m thank the day Louise Hatfield-Pike convinced me to join the club as I would not have met you wonderful people and all my other new friends at BAC. 
To my husband Mark Garratt you have been my rock and taken all the horrible things we’ve been through, the having to hear what I’m going through and taking it all away in your heart where I know it hurt you so much. 
I love you so much💕 and yes this is a very public declaration.

Oh and the puppy would really help my recovery even further!
